Turns out the hospital had a whole bunch of pity on me and gave me a whole goody-bag of drugs. First they gave me some kind of shot (it had a bunch of white stuff in it...I think it was a steroid shot). Then they gave me some little steroid pills to take, as well as some pills to stop the itching (which also make me sleepy) and some antibiotics because I had a weak moment and scratched my arms and ended up opening them up for infection. (Whoo! Run-on sentence FTW!)
As an added bonus, they gave me some topical creme for any more itching, but I haven't needed to use it yet.
So yeah...I'm on all sorts of happy stuff. Except now my arms look like I have psoriasis, so people stare at me when I go out in public.
Oh well.
Off to take a nap now before work. Bye-bye!
