Holy crap on a stick...
It's SNOWING down here. And it's actually starting to stick a little...which means I'll just hide inside where it's safe and warm with a mug of hot chocolate and some popcorn. Everyone on the road is going to be all "OMG it's SNOWING WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!", so they'll be driving like lunatics.
Cara's birthday is next week...hard to believe it's already been almost a year.
Oh, she took her first steps last week! Now she's trying to walk everywhere, but the legs don't always want to cooperate.
And in further earth-shattering news...
Patrick and I are going overseas. Yay! No more Barksdale!
We're planning to leave 15 Oct, so don't worry Heather: we'll be there for the wedding. Plus, it'll probably be the last time for a while the whole gang will be able to get together, so we'll have to be sure to do something extra fun. We're pretty sure we know where we're going, but we're going to wait until we have the "official" orders to let everyone know.
Well, that's about it for now. Going to try and stay warm, maybe take a nap.

Ugh, I've had my fill of snow for this year. I hope yours ends soon. ^^
We urge you to go to the store! Steal food! Horde gas! If you are an elderly American, you will not survive this! An inch of snow; enough to make a footprint is coming!
